Girls in Bed

I have a lot of images that I just drag and drop onto my desktop and a surprising number of images are of girls in bed?  I think I just like all the colors in these.

mathew cerletty

I was up way too late last night surfing the internet and I remembered my old classmate from art school Matt Cerletty, so I decided to google him! I found his website and um.... I'm kind of obsessed with this series of painting: Mint Chip, Purple Chip and Yellow Chip. Hey Matt!!

Fall Music

I don't know what it is about Fall but it always makes me want to play RADIOHEAD over and over and over again...... all time faves: High and Dry, Fake Plastic Trees, Creep and Talk Show Host.

Shorter days, longer nights but more Radiohead!

Ladyhawke - Paris Is Burning

My consultant of cool, Disco Susi, sent me this gem of a video, Ladyhawke's Paris is Burning.

Not only is this song stuck in my head, but  I must say I've been pretty obsessed with all things glittery and sparkly and fire-crackery when designing Spring 2009 ;)

Anyways, I'm gonna watch this video about 12 more times now.

Lykke Li

This is song's been stuck in my head all day long! Lykke Li from Sweden and her song "Little Bit." I dont' know what's more adorable, her voice or her dance moves.

shirley manson

So the other day Disco Susi and I were in the midst of one of our Youtube wars...where we e-mail each other back and forth variousYoutube videos... (yes, we do this a lot!) Well, she e-mailed me the music video for "Queer" by Garbage and reminded me of one of my favorite style icons: Shirley Manson. I remember seeing her picture in magazines and wishing I were born a redhead! I also remember going to High School trying to copy that like smoky eye look only to look like I was punched in the eye. Anyways, Shirley's got great style because she's not afraid to be herself!

More Garbage

Ooh! So I missed this, apparently Garbage came out with a new song and video called "Tell Me Where it Hurts." I absolutely LOVE the look and feel of this video. It's so 1960's Belle de Jour.
